I am a qualified psychotherapist who believes that healing and change happen within a safe, trusting relationship. I aim to offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel met as you are, and where your experiences can be explored with care and curiosity.
My professional journey has been shaped not only by my formal training, but also by my life experience. I was born in West Africa to Irish parents and spent my childhood moving between Ireland and various West African countries. Living between cultures from an early age has given me a deep appreciation for difference, identity, and the many ways people come to understand themselves and the world around them.
As a young adult, I spent time working in London, where I connected with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds. This further deepened my awareness of how unique each person’s story is, and continues to influence how I listen and respond in my work today.
I understand that coming to therapy can feel like a significant step. My hope is to meet you where you are, and to work alongside you at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can begin to make sense of whatever may be difficult, confusing, or overwhelming in your life.
I have a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, and I regularly engage in further training to support my work. I am particularly drawn to creative and experiential approaches to therapy, and I am looking forward to beginning a Certificate in Sand Tray Therapy with the Greenane Centre in Tipperary this autumn.
